Senior Life Solutions

Support for Life's Transitions

Aging can bring many rewarding experiences, from more time with family to the freedom of retirement. But later life can also bring difficult transitions, including the loss of loved ones, changes in health, and other challenges that can affect emotional well-being.

Pioneer Medical Center’s Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals, typically age 65 and older, who are experiencing depression or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging.

When You May Need Support

It's Okay to Ask for Help

Feeling down from time to time is a normal part of life. But when difficult feelings persist for weeks or months, they may be a sign that additional support could help.

Senior Life Solutions may be right for you or someone you know if you’re experiencing:

  • Anxiety
  • Changes in appetite
  • Depression
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Feelings of sadness or grief lasting more than two weeks
  • Feelings of worthlessness or hopelessness
  • The loss of a spouse or close family member
  • Loss of energy
  • Loss of interest in activities you previously enjoyed
  • The effects of a recently experienced traumatic event
These concerns can happen during major life transitions, and you don’t have to navigate them alone
