DESCRIPTION

  1. Supports and models individual behavior consistent with the mission, vision and values of Pioneer Medical Center.
  2. Demonstrates commitment to customer service by:

  5. Operates dish machine and assists in washing pots and pans in 3 compartment sink to clean and sanitize dishes.
  6. Records and monitors proper temperature of dish machine and proper concentration of sanitizer solution.
  7. Properly stores all dishes.
  8. Completes training to become a Certified Feeding Assistant and helps feed residents.
  9. Prepares dining area for meal service and ensures dining area is properly cleaned after meals.
  10. Keeps working environment clean and in sanitary condition.
  11. Performs stocking and cleaning duties as assigned.
  12. May assist with checking in and putting away deliveries.
  13. Assists in training new dietary personnel.
  14. Assists other dietary personnel as needed.

  1. Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
  2. Ability to recognize how they can help others to meet the department’s efficiency needs.
  3. Ability to read and write.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  1. Lift a maximum of 50 lbs with frequent lifting/carrying up to 15 lbs.
  2. Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, talking and hearing.
  3. Occasional sitting, pushing and pulling.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Ability to read and write.
  2. Good personal hygiene.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. Environmental exposure to weather, extreme heat, extreme cold, noise, dust, vapors, fumes and odors.
  2. May be required to work weekends and holidays.
